New York, Paris, Milan and London better make room for a new fashionable force ? Aruba!

Yep, the ABC island just launched its first fashion week, called Aruba In Style. Designers like Custo Barcelona, Beach Bunny Swimwear and Kate Middleton?s go-to line, Issa London, wowed international socialites and fashion insiders at Aruba?s Renaissance Hotel. Even Paris and Nicky Hilton?s mother, Kathy, chose the island to debut her new dress line. ?I love it here and it was a really fun opportunity,? she explains.

Like her daughters, Kathy has a fetish for fashion and drew inspiration from red carpet royalty. ?I thought of Angelina Jolie when I designed this gorgeous light pink gown,? says Kathy. Paris and Nicky have already placed their orders. ?They got a little discount,? their mom confesses. The elegant collection will be available in early 2012 in stores like Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus and, most likely, Aruba!
