Jet Li, From Humble Beginnings To Action/Martial Arts Movie ...

Are you ready for action?

Of all the extraordinary action / martial arts film stars in the past 20 years, some of them really stand out as Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris probably Jean-Claude Van Damme.
(Maybe you have your favorites that were not mentioned. Let by your comments you know it myself.)

There are movie stars, but remember the people, and they are open-known names.

One of these martial arts actor I've always been impressed by Li Lian Jie.

"Who the hell is that?" I asked.

I confess that I knew him only by his stage name Jet Li

For many years, Jet Li has hard to get where he is now being done in his career.

And of course, hard work and determination for him and his family have paid.

Especially since his mother had somehow, his brother and two sisters, a widow in her sixties in Beijing.

As a teenager, won Wushu Jet Li, rigorously trained in several years, numerous national titles and gold medals.

Jet Li is now a member of the management of National Wushu also welcomed by President Nixon in the U.S..

In those days it was traveling a great honor and opportunity for China to foreign countries and more to perform in front of "leader of the free world." Jet Li was a teenager at the time!

Abilities and skills as a professional wushu action paved the way for Jet Li in the martial arts films made in China after Hong Kong and the United States finally began. It has become a global superstar over the years.

You may have seen in some of his films, including:

Shaolin Temple
Once Upon a Time in China

Lethal Weapon 4 (this was the first time I saw Jet Li and I was impressed!)

Romeo Must Die
Hero
Cradle 2 The Grave
Undaunted
War (Jason Statham)
The Forbidden Kingdom (with another superstar Jackie Chan)

I've heard that Jet Li is a member of the association to Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Staham, with Arnold Schwarzenegger in "The Expendables" should be expected to be published in 2010. More on that later.

But there is another side of Jet Li, as his charitable work, especially after his near-death experience in 2004 when a tsunami in the Maldives.

According to reports, Jet Li, "The One Foundation" supports the efforts of international relief efforts of Red Cross and others, such as the Sichuan earthquake recovery in 2008.

Jet Li continues to surprise and off screen.

If you observe, Jet Li is 14 years and like to do after their first Wushu Championship, or as a villain in Lethal Weapon 4, station TheMartialArtsReporter.com
